NASA Space Settlement Contest
An annual contest sponsored by NASA Ames and the National Space Society (NSS) for all students up to 12th grade world wide. Students submit entries describing orbital settlements. A $5,000 prize will be awarded to the highest scoring team/individual. Entries due March 1, 2015. See the following for rules, entry form, resources and tips.

Botball Educational Robotics Program
Botball Educational Robotics Program: engages middle and high school aged students in a team-oriented robotics competition based on national science education standards. By designing, building, programming, and documenting robots, students use science, engineering, technology, math, and writing skills in a hands-on project that reinforces their learning.

Teams of up to 4 middle school students with a teacher sponsor take an online exam that covers economic concepts in Civics and Economics.
